There are weeks when I sit down to write (blog), and I have no idea what I want to communicate. I have a million thoughts and emotions, some that may seem more relevant than others, but mostly I'm just trying to avoid veering off in a direction that is not consistent with the ultimate goal.
This is one of those weeks.
So, instead, Ill leave you with an inspiring quote I heard from a show I was watching:
"Taste Colors, Hear Shapes, See Sound."
I'm not necessarily speaking of the phenomenon, Synesthesia, where some people really can (quite literally) taste the rainbow; but the context in which the quote was stated was to view the world through the eyes of a child, or I would add, being in love. With all the unrest, uncertainty, and unknowns, its easy sometimes to forget that each day can also be viewed as a new gift, a new opportunity to enjoy life to the max, while we have it, because in a blink of an eye… you get where Im going.
So even with the world on its ear, what we DO have is today, so, if you can, take the opportunity to see life differently, even if for a moment. Taste Colors. Hear Shapes. See Sound. And if not today, there's always tomorrow?
Ps. This is NOT a campaign for drug use! lol
