As I complete another trip around the sun, I can't help but reminisce about the journey it has been to this point.
I've experienced 40 Christmas Birthdays now and each one is a reminder of how much of a true gift and blessing life can be. I've mentioned before, that the older I get, Christmas just becomes another day, even attached to a birthday; leaving the wonder and the joy for the kiddos to experience. But now, I realize, that's simply not true.
Life is full of wonder and joy! It's just a matter of perspective. If life can be as simple (Though not easy) as controlling your thoughts, which become habits, which in turn create our environment, how amazing it is to know that we are in control of our story and our lives.
What a gift.
